Hello, this is Farhana Islam Jany, by born Bangladeshi, currently living in Canada. I am an accounting and finance graduate with a diverse professional background. Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to work in different sectors, gaining valuable insights and perspectives that have broadened my professional horizons.
Once I was a dedicated social worker. For over half of my life, I have dedicated my time and energy to volunteering and making a difference in the lives of others. As a passionate social worker, I have had the privilege of working with various communities and organizations, striving to uplift individuals and create positive change.
Exploring the world is another aspect that fuels my curiosity and desire for new experiences. I tried to never miss any chance to tour anywhere. My travel diary started in 2014 and it’s going on. For me, travel is one of the best ways to learn about people, places, culture and history compared with any other sources.
In addition, I love growing plants. Hence, I have no option for planting in a large volume, I create a green corner in my living room with some indoor plants. It seems like the jewelry of my house to me. Green serves as a means of refreshment, eye smoothing, and a source of joy in my life.
When I’m not immersed in my professional pursuits or not in touch with my passion, you can often find me engrossed in reading. I have an insatiable appetite for knowledge and enjoy delving into a wide range of subjects. Whether it’s books, newspapers, magazines, blogs or any form of thing, I find solace and inspiration in the written word.
As an ambivert (considered by myself), I possess a unique mix of traits. I am introspective and enjoy moments of solitude for self-reflection and personal growth. Simultaneously, I thrive in social settings and relish the opportunity to connect with new people, hear their stories, and learn from their experiences. This blend of emotional depth and practicality allows me to navigate life’s challenges and opportunities with a balanced approach.
And in short its me.
